That self-confidence comes from having a clear vision – a clear vision of what you want for the future. What defines your success will be your ability to understand the pursuits that bring you happiness and fulfillment and then to transfer your net worth toward those pursuits. Travel, retirement, a hobby – with adequate net worth you can enjoy activities that you are passionate about.
The Prosperity Trek begins by envisioning what your ideal life would be like if you were wealthy. Here’s an example of a vision that has some specifics: “I want to have $2.5 million dollars invested so that I can live off 4% of the value each year. Then I will quit my job, travel, buy a small boat and fish, play golf, volunteer and spend time with my family.”

- Cut out images from magazines that are consistent with your vision. This will make your vision even more real. Look for images of places you want to visit and people doing the things you consider fun. Then keep these images near your desk or workspace so that you can connect with these visions every day.
